Guidelines for Poster Presenters
Poster Format and Design
- Size: Posters are recommended be of size A0 (portrait orientation).
- Logo: Please include the SEFI logo on your poster. You may also include the conference logo
- Format: Posters must be printed as one complete sheet – they may not be assembled from smaller sheets.
Poster Preparation and Printing
The text, illustrations, etc. should be big enough to be read from a distance of 1.5meters, and the message of the poster should be clear and understandable. Please print your poster and bring it with you to the Conference. No poster printing service is provided by the organizers. If you wish to have your poster printed in Prague, you may contact the company TOMOS directly at tomos@tomos.cz. Please make sure to send your file well in advance – by 31 August 2026. Posters must be in A0 format (1189 × 841 mm), submitted as a high-resolution PDF with 3 mm bleed margins (see What is Full Bleed Printing). We recommend mentioning that the poster is for the SEFI 2026 conference. All communication and invoicing are handled directly with the company. Your ordered products being delivered to the congress venue Czech Technical University in Prague – Faculty of Electrical Engineering, where they will be available at the registration desk on Monday 7 September 2026.
If you want your order to be available at the congress site on Monday 7 September, you must place your order by Monday 31 August 2026, as described above.

Display
- Posters will be displayed for the entire conference: Monday to Thursday.
- Your poster should be set up on Monday morning and remain in place until the end of programme on Thursday.
Pitch Presentation in Plenary
- All poster presenters will prepare a 1-minute “pitch” to introduce their poster during the Wednesday plenary session (live presentation). To ensure that an image can be displayed on the screen during your pitch, please send a single-page PDF file no later than Wednesday, 2 September 2026 to sefi2026@guarant.cz with the subject line: “File for SEFI2025 poster pitch.” By default, we recommend sending a PDF version of your poster, but you may also choose to submit another single image instead (e.g., one PowerPoint slide) if you prefer to display something different during your pitch. If you wish to give your pitch through a video, please send that as your poster pitch file.
During the Poster Session
- Poster presenters are expected to be present at their posters during the designated poster session to discuss their work and answer questions from attendees.
